Grandfather Clocks
P. A. Oxley specialise in fully restored antique grandfather clocks. We have been established since 1971. Our full and updated stock of grandfather clocks can be viewed online or by appointment at our showrooms in Wiltshire.
All of our Grandfather Clocks are presented in a fully restored condition and in full working order.
We endeavour to maintain a good cross section of antique grandfather clocks from small to large with features such as moonphase, automata, brass/painted dial, month duration, mahogany, marquetry, oak and walnut.
The longcase clock (the correct term) is now more commonly called the grandfather clock. Its believed that this originated from the song 'My Grandfathers Clock'.
Longcase Clocks are delivered Free in the UK and for our overseas customers a full Export service can be made available by our approved and well established Fine Art Export Shipper. Please click here to view the Export process.
