An excellent quality mahogany table/bracket clock by this well known maker - Retailed by Wood of Liverpool.
The 8 day duration twin fusee movement with anchor escapement and striking and repeating the hours on a bell. The backplate with engraved border. The 8" round white dial with Roman chapters and blued steel hands. Also with strike/silent above number XII. The mahogany veneered case of Gothic shape with four brass ball finials. The case inlaid throughout with boxwood and ebony inlay. Brass handles to the sides with brass sound frets and standing on four brass ball feet.
