

A small and excellent quality mahogany moonphase antique Grandfather clock from the Channel Islands.
The 8 day duration movement striking the hours on a bell. The arched brass dial with unusual brass spandrels to the corners and a separate silvered brass chapter ring enclosing an engraved silvered brass centre showing seconds , date aperture and makers name. The arch with a sought after painted moonphase feature with a blue background and gold stars. The arch also with a silvered brass engraved Moon Calendar and with brass engraved Hemispheres. The small mahogany case with a long trunk door and plain base of good mahogany colour. The hood with reeded brass capped angle pillars, broken arch top and inspection windows to the sides.
