An excellent example of local antique clockmaking by this well known maker.
The 8 day duration movement striking the hours on a bell. The arched white dial showing both seconds and date. The corners and arch painted with raised gesso gold work, flowers, foliage and birds. The oak case of slim proportions with a long trunk door flanked by canted corners. The plain base with shaped plinth. The hood with gilt wooden capitals and pagoda top with three brass finials.
