A good example of the UFO Automatic Chronograph by Seiko.
The serial number dating the watch to April 1977. The movement has been serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months. The watch features the day and date of the month and a Chronograph which can also be used to measure the average speed of a moving vehicle over 1 mile using the Tachymeter on the outer ring.
This particular style of Seiko Chronograph was nicknamed the 'UFO' due to its similarity to the shape of a Flying Saucer which were very often reported in the skies of the 1970's all over the world.
The case and bracelet has various age related marks which are expected on a nearly 45 year old wristwatch. Both the case and bracelet have been cleaned and lightly polished. The rear of the case has been highly polished at some point in its life. The bracelet has numerous stretched links which again are typical of a watch of this age. The bracelet will comfortably fit a wrist of 20-22cm and it could be reduced slightly if required. Another option is to fit a leather strap if desired.
